Our company has grown with the demands and complexities necessitated by the trenchless industry. Over the years, we have introduced manned pipe jacking, microtunneling, guided boring and earth pressure balance systems to expand the range of sizes and ground conditions in which our systems perform. In addition to our standard line of equipment, we design and build custom sizes for unique project requirements up to 14-feet (4 m) in diameter. We also alter former equipment purchases to increase your investment’s versatility.

Akkerman equipment installs a range of pipe materials in numerous lengths although we specialize in equipment for minimal diameter shafts. Our systems are used to install reinforced concrete pipe, clay pipe, polymer concrete, centrifugally cast fiberglass reinforced polymer mortar, and steel casing, as well as liner plate, ring-beam and lagging and concrete segments.
