As we close out a remarkable business year, I want to take a moment to reflect and express my deepest gratitude to the trenchless industry and our extended Akkerman community.
This year brought both great success and profound loss. With my father Maynard Akkerman’s passing in July, we experienced an outpouring of love and support that has meant the world to our family. I had no idea how many people my father impacted based on the countless stories I heard from everyone. As Maynard always said, “Our people are everything,” and he was right. The compassion shown by our employees, to our family and to one another, has been nothing short of extraordinary.
What’s been especially moving is how our customers reached out, not just to our family, but to our team, with heartfelt messages and support. It’s a powerful reminder that the trenchless industry is more than just a business community; it’s a tight-knit group bound by shared values who genuinely care for one another.
Maynard is deeply missed, but his legacy continues to inspire and drive our mission forward.
In 2025, Akkerman welcomed over 17 new customers, alongside many returning partners. It’s been a year of collaboration, innovation, and meaningful progress. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and even prouder that it’s all been built right here in the USA. Being American-made is more than a label; it’s a commitment to quality, integrity, and the hardworking spirit that defines our team.
Thank you for being part of our journey and for the continued support you’ve shown throughout this year. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and look forward to building on this momentum in the coming year with gratitude, determination, and a deep appreciation for the people who make this industry thrive.
With sincere appreciation,
Justin Akkerman
President of Akkerman Inc.
